Who will issue my diploma?
Upon completion of the required credits for graduation, and any state-required tests, the school district and Pivot Charter School will issue the diploma.
When do I attend class?
Students will choose one of two 6 hour sessions and attend every day just like a traditional school. Just as in a traditional school, students must work in their courses daily, and show weekly progress
What grade levels does Pivot Charter School Serve?
Pivot Charter School serves students in middle and high school: grades 6 through 12.
Does it matter where I live?
Pivot Charter School serves students who reside within Hillsborough County and if spots are available, they may attend outside of their county. Please inquire with the school for availability.
Do you offer Sports and Extra Curriculars?
While we do offer a variety of clubs and programs, we currently do not offer any sport programs. Students MAY, however, participate in sports at their home zoned middle or high school while attending Pivot Charter.
Do you offer Dual Enrollment?
Yes, students that meet the requirements for Dual Enrollment may take courses on campus or at HCC.
Can students with IEP's (Individual Education Plans) attend Pivot Charter?
As with all Florida public schools and districts, Pivot Charter School accepts all students and will not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, national origin or disability or any other characteristic.
Can students earn Industry Certifications?
Yes, students may earn industry certifications while at Pivot.
