Welcome Parents & Students
Welcome to Pivot Charter School, a tuition-free, public, non-profit charter school located in the Tampa Bay area. We offer a unique learning experience for middle and high school students, blending technology with live teacher instruction across a range of academic subjects. Our technology certification programs give students the skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven world. Located in Riverview, we have been serving the community for over a decade, and our commitment to empowering and engaging all of our students helps them achieve excellence in both learning and citizenship. If you are a parent looking for a high-quality education for your middle or high school student, look no further than Pivot Charter School.
Intent to Return
Preparations for the 2023-2024 school year are already underway. As such, we are requesting that all parents/guardians complete an Intent to Return Form (linked below) if their child is returning to Pivot Charter School next school year. This will ensure that your child has a spot reserved for them for the 2023-2024 School Year. Intent to Return forms are due by January 31st. If the form is not received by then, enrollment spots will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.

Seeking Volunteers for 2023-2024 PTO
We are seeking volunteers to establish a 2023-2024 Parent-Teacher Organization. A PTO is a powerful partnership between parents and teachers that enhances the educational experience for students. By working together, we can achieve great things for our school and our children. Benefits include:
-
Provides extra resources and support for students through fundraising efforts
-
Organizes educational/fun events and activities that enrich the student's learning experience
-
Provides opportunities for parents to get involved and have a say in their child's education
-
Fosters open communication and collaboration between parents, teachers, and school administration for the benefit of the students
-
Helps create a stronger and more supportive school community for the benefit of students and parents
Care Closet
We are excited to announce the creation of the Care Closet, a resource for students and families facing financial or domestic hardships. The Care Closet offers a variety of items, including hygiene products and food items, free of charge to any students and families in need. There are no questions asked, and items are available in-person before or after school, or during homeroom (excluding 5th period). Parents and guardians may also request items or access the Care Closet using the link provided.
We are grateful to Mrs. Laing's Leadership Class for their efforts in creating this resource and making it available to our community. If you are interested in donating supplies to the Care Closet, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of our students and families. Thank you for your support! Please contact Mrs. Laing at jesse.laing@pivotcharterschool.com with any questions.
